now that 2011 is over and it's 2012 i've kind of just been finishing off the things i've been doing last year and trying to get everything done, i've been disposing of heaps of stuff but also recycling and making new things, 2011 was not the best year, and 2012 has started off a bit rocky but here is to hoping... i cannot wait to show you what i have saved on my computer desktop! i've also been reflecting alot for the last couple of days and i wrote down what has been weighing on my mind, i'll reveal all sometime soon, in the mean time enjoy the GIFS.

TOPSHOP MELBOURNE LAUNCH!

i was invited to the first australian Topshop store launch yesturday which was super amazing *shout out to torstar* i recommend everyone in melbourne go check it out, there was a few pieces i want to buy but my phone bills off the roof! the store is on chapel street where the jam factory is, a lot of models turned up and a handful of some of the biggest melbourne talents, midnight jaugernauts and the presets! i also got to hang out with the men who brought Topshop to melbourne after the launched finished, we went to the irish pub and got our drank on and then we went back to some random abode, and the rest was history!!! ke$ha style.

Hey, How are you guys?... just some updates, July is going to be such a busy month, I have a lot of work coming up, i'm going interstate with one of my best friends in a couple weeks from now so lots of blogging there... and also i am starring in a short film called Hilah, with a VERY talented and established cinematographer Germain McMicking who's work is complimented all over Europe and more, late July.

I'm also styling a shoot with my friend George Downing who is going to be shooting them, he's a triple threat his young, model and is an amazing photographer, so i'm very excited to collaborate, he modelled for my work, if you scroll down you can see it...

james and I went to the DI$COUNT exhibit together at the backwoods gallery, which was a lot of fun, especially walking on slopey ground in heels... it's a tranny lifestyle, quote james lol, the exhibit was really good. it was so exciting, the designs looked so much fun, james and i loved it. i even forgot about taking photos of all the well dressed people that turned up but this is what i got of the night, cannot wait for cami and nadia's launch i sense that the DI$COUNT exhibit will be nothing compared to their launch!

This exhibition is absolutely mesmerizing if you havn't seen it yet, you should head down and check it out... it exhibits from March the 19th until the 1st of April and is located at the atrium in fed square! go go go!!!

I went with Peter to the screening for the TrimApee - Autumn/Winter  2011 collection 'Umbilical Ventriloquial'... I thought Christian Blanchard and Steven Protruder did a really great job, I definitely enjoyed it.

I went to the Upper Left Arm launch party at the comback kid store, it was quite the experience the clothes were really good i really enjoyed them! it was so crowded upstairs, i failed to take any photos but managed to lose some weight from breaking a swett from the lack of oxygen i was accumalating in such a crowded room, the people there were very well dressed, so intimidatingly fashionable, i saw a lot of bloggers i've stalked follow and reunited with mark hunter since our last encounter which was nice.

What’s your idea of fun?
My  personal idea of fun is everything that puts a smile on my face. For  instance, if I have a good time with my friends, when we have sit-in at  one of my mates’ house and keep hanging around. So basically everything  that makes me forget all my daily problems, so that I have some careless  time and just have fun.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
My  favourite modeling experience was a photo shoot with an Australian  photographer. It was my first, real professional shoot. As one might  imagine I’ve been extremely nervous. But it turned out to be so chilled,  since the photographer was such a calm guy who was absolutely relaxed  in his appearance. For this reason I immediately forget about all my  worries and concerns, whether I would do my job good or not, etc… That  was a very good thing that I have experienced so far in modeling. And  the positive side-effect was/is that I gained a lot of self-confidence.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
The  best thing about my hometown is that it’s so multicultural and it’s  like an unity in diversity. So many different people live here and I’ve  many international friends, which is so fascinating to me because I’m  really interested in other cultures. An other aspect that makes me love  Hamburg itself is definitely that the city has such a variety of architecture. One can basically see how the city develops with time and  how the structural changes effect the people living in the city. I have  many more reasons why Hamburg is such a nice place to live…
Germany  itself is a secure place to live in, which nowadays becomes a more and  more import aspect to me, if you take a look on how bad situations are  elsewhere in the world, like in Egypt, Tunisia… This is a point where I  must say that I’m grateful to live in such a democratic state. Enough of  the political stuff… Germany is small, indeed. But it has a lot to  offer. It has a lot of history, culture and it’s modern at the same  time. In my opinion this is obviously a significant combination which  not many places on the globe can offer in such an extend and quality.

Favorite artist (any kind):
My  favourite artist has been for a long time 50 Cent, because some of his  songs touched my heart or just felt really good to listen to. But now I  rather tend more towards Bruno Mars, since his songs are full of warmth  and love… the things that everybody needs once in a while.

Place you would love to visit:
One  place I would really like to visit would, by all means, be New York.  Many of my friends have already been there and all had a stunning and  breathtaking experience.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
It  did not start it just because of modeling, but I’ve noticed how  addicted people in my environment are to unhealthy stuff such as  alcohol, fast food, cigarettes, etc. Therefore I made a decision and  realised that I don’t want to harm my body in that way but keep it  healthy.

i have this really strong urge to do a shoot using this theme of lawrence of arabia but twisting it a touch by modernising it, i've been making a few things for this shoot so i'm trying to do as much as i can right now, I want to shoot someone who has a really eastern roman like gladiator slash prince slash etc... structure, just waiting for the right time to do the shoot i think i sort of have the right person so far... I like shooting people, it's a tad more challenging then shooting realtime models.

so this is me trying not to procrastinate, whilst i'm still recovering from illnesses that won't be named... i was the stylist in this shoot, raided my sisters wardrobes so thanks to them for letting me borrow clothes! i got the model to do her own make-up because i was like not in the mood too. There's so much more things i want to accomplish in the short time frame of this break, this was a girl who went to my school her name is Annastasia, she's from Russiaaa... she has the dracula accent, it's pretty sensual! i shot her yesturday and i managed to get some decent shots, in these photos she's reminding me of a mixture of Jessica Stam and Amanda Seyfried? sort of... and i've realised that i've only shot my neighbours! i think maybe it's time to take a leap across the pond? ohhh and thank you Peter Kozlica for letting me use your seductive car for the shoot. x

i recently helped out on a shoot with one of my sweetest and talented friend Olivia Tran and her friends Em Stanley who did the styling! and Phoebe Goulding who did make up! here is the sneak peeko of behind the scene, Vanessa May was modelling, this was one of her first shoots and she did a salacious job, i take my hat off to her if only i had as much sex appeal as that girl i would be bringing all the people to the yard...! hahaha well she definitely was bringing them men to the front porch, if you look at the second last photo you can see a old man lurking in the background, he was vulgar with his mannerism and definitely not the only one, ignoring them we kept at it!!!! it was a great day, to top that off me olivia and vanessa went to the limedrop launch to see some of the most beautiful people! overall great week, i'll post her finals up, once she has finalized them! remember to visit her blog! and become a fan on her facebook page!
